The Caesars Superdome is conveniently located in Downtown New Orleans and is within walking distance from a number of hotels, attractions, and public transportation stops.

The Caesars Superdome has a strict clear bag policy. Permitted bags include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. Eras Tour Logistics – Hotels, Transportation, and Food:

Where Should I Stay for the Eras Tour in New Orleans?

Like with tickets, demand for hotel rooms is also quite high. One great thing about the Superdome is that it’s extremely walkable from most Downtown and French Quarter hotels. You can find some of our picks for hotels near the Superdome here. If you’re coming with a group, you may want to consider one of our favorite hotels for group stays, or if you’re traveling with children, check out a few family-friendly picks here.

There will also be a number of hotels hosting Swiftie-specific events and activations, from brunches to bracelet making and glitter stations. You can find more information about those by visiting our Swiftie Events Page.

What’s the Best Way to Get to and From the Concert Venue?

If you have a car, there is parking on-site and in nearby lots available for purchase. If you’re staying nearby, we recommend walking to the concert and then you can always catch a taxi, ride-share, or pedi-cab back afterwards. The streetcar is another great option for those staying near the different routes. The Rampart-Loyola line is the closest to the dome (and can also be transferred to from the Canal Street line), but the Saint Charles Avenue line’s Poydras stop is about a 15-minute walk from the Superdome.  If you’re taking the streetcar, be sure to give yourself extra time, as streetcars might fill up. But don’t be discouraged if full cars pass you by–it may just take some extra waiting to catch one that can accommodate additional riders, depending on where you are along the route. See the map above for a better idea of the nearest stops to the Caesars Superdome by streetcar line.

If you’re attending the Eras Tour with a child still in a car sea tor booster seat, we recommend reaching out to KreweCar – they’re a kid-friendly ride-share service with background-checked drivers and car seats on request. Just be sure to book ahead of time.

No kids? Let’s be real–your outfits are going to be amazing, and you’ll want a place that feels festive and matches the aesthetic for the evening (after all… *you’re going out tonight*). Justine, Jack Rose, Bar Métier, Miss River, The Peacock Room,  Maypop, Brennan’s, MaMou, Tacos del Cartel, Pluck Wine Bar, and Jewel of the South are all gorgeous, girly, and fun–and they’ve got delicious food, to boot. Plus, they’re all close enough to the venue that you shouldn’t feel too rushed between an early bite and go-time.

Local Attractions & Things to Do While in Town for the Eras Tour:

It’s my first time in New Orleans–what do I need to do?

If it’s your first time, we’ve got a guide for that. We also have an ideal three-day itinerary that hits all the New Orleans essentials. Things like getting beignets, riding the streetcar, and exploring the French Quarter should be on everyone’s to-do list.

Obviously, New Orleans is known for its cuisine. And you can’t visit without trying some of our most famous dishes. If you’re looking for a truly classic dining experience, be sure to check out our picks for the most iconic New Orleans restaurants, with everything from white-tablecloth Creole cuisine to fried seafood and everything in between.

Then there’s the music. While Taylor’s concert might be the main event, there’s no shortage of live music all throughout the city. Take a walk down Frenchmen Street, stop by one of our most legendary music venues, or check out the WWOZ Livewire calendar to see who is playing where.

I’m visiting with kids – what are some kid-friendly things to do in New Orleans?

In addition to our favorite kid-friendly restaurants mentioned above, there’s SO much to do in New Orleans with kids. Check out some of our favorite family-friendly attractions or get some ideas from our family-friendly itinerary here. Visiting with tweens or young teens? We put together a full mother-daughter itinerary for that very age-group–and don’t worry, we had several harsh critics in the age group sign off to make sure nothing came even a little bit close to being “too cringe.”

We also strongly encourage just exploring the city with kids–the streetcar is a great place to start (and we’ve got a great Streetcar Itinerary by Route). Swamp tours are also always a hit if you have enough time to get out of the city for a couple of hours.

We also break them down by type–from foodie to luxury and budget–so that you can find all the perfect activities to make this trip even more unforgettable.
