Golfers have been shouting “Fore!” in New Orleans at public courses since 1902, the year the first non-membership course opened in City Park. Today, New Orleans is home to a range of approachable public courses in locations Uptown and down.  From the natural habitat and wetlands of TPC Louisiana, home to the annual Zurich Classic stop on the PGA tour, to the  Uptown Golf Club at Audubon Park, there’s a course for every level of play. Avid golfers are enjoying City Park’s new Bayou Oaks Golf Course, a Rees Jones designed championship course that adds a second option of play to the Park’s North Course in Mid-City.
