Home to the oldest tennis club in the United States – the New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club founded on Dec. 15, 1876 – New Orleans boasts clay and hard surface courts in neighborhoods all over town, from Uptown in Audubon Park to Mid-City’s leafy City Park, where 26 public courts await. There is plenty of bounce at courts on university campuses and groups happy to meet up and do doubles just about any day of the week.
