What new additions can I expect at MSY’s new terminal? 

The Louis Armstrong International Airport’s (MSY) new terminal is equipped with a number of enhancements and features geared toward making travel quicker, safer, and enjoyable. 

Check-In

Over 100 check-in counters and in-line baggage screening will make for efficient secure check-in procedures. 

Security Checkpoint

A key difference with the new terminal is a consolidated security checkpoint that stretches 17 lanes wide. Additional space and security will allow passengers to make it to their gates quicker. 

Curbside Convenience

Separate curbside space for departures and arrivals will reduce congestion for flyers and their families. 

The Jazz Garden

A new feature and fun addition is the area dubbed “the Jazz Garden.” Located in the centralized baggage claim area, the Jazz Garden will serve as visitors official welcome to the city with live jazz music and entertainment throughout the day.
