The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) will host its 62nd Annual Meeting, the premier educational gathering for cardiothoracic surgical professionals worldwide. MEDIA CONTACT
STS will provide press credentials to verified editorial representatives of general circulation newspapers or magazines, as well as medical or healthcare publications, and broadcast media or online news services. On a case-by-case basis, STS will provide press credentials to writers and editors for commercial publications distributed to the health care manufacturing and service industries and the general business community. To apply for press credentials at the STS Annual Meeting, please supply a current bylined article or business card that lists an editorial title. Freelance journalists must present a letter of assignment from a recognized media organization. Media are not invited to attend STS business or operational meetings.

Photography is allowed; videotaping is prohibited in the scientific sessions, poster exhibits, and the exhibit hall, except by STS staff, its retained service providers, and other STS authorized personnel. Videotaping may take place in the Press Office by request.
