Dear Team CVB, 

Well, another enormously successful National Travel & Tourism Week went down in the record books for the NOCVB! A huge "Thank You" to all of our staff that unwearyingly and very diligently planned, coordinated and implemented a full week of events. Our promotional efforts were covered by all of the local TV networks in addition to being touted on NOLA.com and in The Advocate. Job well done!

Another significant accomplishment for our NOCVB team this past quarter was the successful roll-out of the Tourism Support Assessment and subsequent first-time collection of the funds. We would like to extend high accolades to those departments and staff members that assumed an integral role in the assessment planning and design, educational process and implementation. The monies received as a result of the assessment will further impact the NOCVB and NOTMC, directly, in further showcasing New Orleans, while providing another critical funding source for the infrastructure of the city.

So, in short, we are off to a phenomenal start in 2014! Let's keep the positive momentum moving forward into the second half of the year!
