NAR NXT BRINGS 10,000 REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS AND HIGH PROFILE SPEAKERS TO NEW ORLEANS NOV 6-8 

National Association of REALTORS® returns to a city with a longstanding place in its history, celebrating 25 years of the REALTORS® Relief Foundation

WHO/WHAT  

The National Association of REALTORS® NAR NXT takes place November 6 to 8, 2026, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, in partnership with New Orleans & Company. 

NAR NXT, the National Association of REALTORS®' premier annual conference, will bring approximately 10,000 REALTORS® and real estate professionals from across the country to New Orleans. Over three days, attendees will hear from leading voices in real estate, entertainment and technology, participate in educational sessions exploring trends shaping the housing market, and explore an expo featuring more than 200 sponsors and exhibitors showcasing the latest real estate tools and technology. 

NAR's relationship with New Orleans spans decades, with the city playing a meaningful role in the organization's history and commitment to supporting communities in times of need. Following Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, NAR chose to keep its plans to host its annual conference and expo in New Orleans rather than relocating. The November 2005 event generated an estimated $34 million in economic impact and marked an important milestone in the recovery of the city's convention and tourism industry. NAR also raised and donated $1 million to hurricane relief efforts across Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. 

This year, NAR returns to New Orleans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, which has continued the organization's commitment to helping communities recover from disasters. Most recently, RRF raised $564,000 for Hurricane Helene recovery. The anniversary celebration reflects the organization's enduring connection to New Orleans and its commitment to supporting communities in times of need. 

The conference will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno, who will deliver opening remarks during Friday's general session, and Gayle Benson, owner and CEO of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, who will provide remarks at NXT Fest, the conference's welcome celebration. Friday's general session will also feature Ryan Serhant, real estate broker, bestselling author and CEO of SERHANT., who will share his insights on success in a fireside chat. 

Additional featured speakers include Grammy® Award-winning music and television icon Reba McEntire, who will take the stage Saturday to discuss strategy and storytelling, and John Rogers, Cotality's chief data and analytics officer, who will explore data, artificial intelligence and the future of real estate. Former Saints wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Marques Colston will bring a distinctly local perspective, leading a session examining how sports and entertainment are shaping commercial real estate investment. 

New Orleans also offers a fitting backdrop for a gathering of real estate professionals, with its distinctive architecture, historic neighborhoods and evolving housing market providing a real-world perspective on the industry. The conference will offer opportunities for attendees to connect, learn and exchange ideas while experiencing the city's hospitality and culture.
