Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo “On Tour” 2026 Celebrating 20 Years

NEW ORLEANS – Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo celebrates 20 years in 2026—rooted in Bayou St. John and built around New Orleans music, food, art, and neighborhood community. The anniversary edition runs May 15–17 with a special two-venue format in partnership with the Historic Pitot House and The Broadside.

What’s new for 2026“
*Special two-venue format in partnership with the Historic Pitot House and The Broadside

  • Canopy Club VIP experience hosted at the Historic Pitot House (Sat–Sun daytime)
  • The Broadside programming features two stages: The Pavilion and the Outdoor Stage, plus pop-up appearances on “The Porch”
  • Saturday, May 16 (evening): “piano in a truck” pop-up at The Broadside once it arrives from its jaunt over from Pitot House

  • Sunday, May 17 — Historic Pitot House (Canopy Club VIP), 11:30 AM–3:30 PM; The Broadside, 3:30 PM–9:30 PM

In 2021, a mini Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo “in exile” was held at The Broadside with five bands over three days and an arts market. The 2020 festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2026 Bayou Boogaloo music lineup includes: River Eckert Band, Big Chief Brian and Nouveau Bounce featuring James Andrews, Last, Dance – A Donna Summer Tribute featuring
Anais St. John, Al “Little Fats” Jackson, Where Y’acht, Hollyrock, Neonautica, Colin Davis & Night People, piano on a truck w/ Davis Rogan, Tom Worrell, Jared Daws, & Sinead Angele Band.
The Pitot House: The Desert Nudes, Johnny Vidacovich Trio featuring James Singleton & Brian Haas, Dusky Waters, Kristin Diable, Robert Eustis with Andre Bohren, plus Shawn Williams & surprise performances.
