Gin-centric Fulton St. Bistro | Bar celebrates World Gin Day with tasting flight, appetizer and cocktail specials and sample cocktail hour 

It's World Gin Day on Saturday, and Fulton St. Bistro | Bar, 700 Fulton St., is planning an evening dedicated to the juniper-flavored spirit with free tastings, a flight of some of our most refreshing summer gin cocktails, appetizer specials & more! Ginthusiasts are invited to sample gin cocktails from 3 to 4 p.m.

The only specialty gin bar in New Orleans, Fulton St. Bistro | Bar (formerly 7 on Fulton) will offer a tasting flight for $9 featuring the Riverfront Gimlet, incorporating The Botanist gin, lime, muddled cucumber and basil; Bee's Knees, with Plymouth, fresh lemon and Zip Code honey and honey comb; and Negroni cocktail, with Tanqueray, Campari and Moscato grape-based Cocchi Vermouth di Torino. All specialty cocktails will be $2 off and Cajun-inspired appetizers at a discounted price will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. including Boudin Egg Rolls, Honey Shrimp and Oyster Rockefeller.

From the stalwarts like Plymouth and Hendrick's to artisan varieties like The Botanist, Death's Door, Glorious Gin and Nolet's to locally handcrafted Oryza Gin, Fulton St. Bar is a playground for juniper-loving imbibers. Its cocktail menu includes New Orleans classics such as the famous Ramos Gin Fizz and French 75, special twists on others like the Seasonal Julep and Hurricane Coupe De Ville, and a selection of fine tonics such as the classic Jack Rudy's Tonic Elixir and a botanical Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water. An extensive selection of wines by the glass and locally brewed and imported beers are available as well. Fulton Street Bar is open 2 - 11 PM Sun.-Thurs., 11 AM - Midnight, Friday & Saturday.

Fulton St. Bistro | Bar, located in the Omni Riverfront Hotel, provides outdoor café seating along Fulton Street and a perfect place for social gatherings, group happy hours or as a destination to unwind after a long day.

The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and lunch from 6:30 AM - 2 PM and serves dinner from 5:30 - 10 PM. A Sunday Brunch Menu is served from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM Free valet parking is available for guests of the restaurant.
