Fête des Fromages Celebrates Cheese, Wine, Music with International Flair
The French-American Chamber of Commerce, Gulf Coast will present over 100 Cheeses

WHAT: 
The French American Chamber of Commerce – Gulf Coast is pleased to announce Fête des Fromages, a festival presenting over 100 artisan cheeses from around the world. Platinum sponsors are Wisconsin Cheese, From’ Europe and Gold Sponsors are Atalanta Corporation and Forever Cheese.

Fête des Fromages will showcase an international array of cheese makers, importers and distributors in a festival unlike any other in New Orleans. Thousands of cheese and wine lovers from around the region can sample everything from chèvre to Brie to blue, sip a selection of French wine, craft beer, hard cider, spirits and specialty waters while enjoying local music from New Orleans’ favorite performers.

General Admission Fête Rouge: Early bird tickets are available until October 15 at $25 for adults (ages 17+) and $10 for children (ages 4-16); 3 and under free; after Oct. 15, $30 for adults and $12 for children. VIP Fête Blanche: $65 Adult Only. Early admission at 10 AM, two adult beverage tickets and more.
VIP Fête Bleue: $125 Adult Only. VIP lounge, light brunch, unlimited French wines, craft beers, hard ciders and specialty waters, one Cheese 101 seminar ticket, 10 AM admission to the festival and more.

WHY: VIP Fête Bleue ticket holders can join in Cheese 101 seminars hosted by Liz Thorpe, author of The Book of Cheese and The Cheese Chronicles. Other highlights will include chef demonstrations and booths presented by local restaurants serving cheesy specialties from across the region. Chef Alex Miles of Dijon, France, will host seminars on the history of the origin of cheese in France, paired with wines. St. James Cheese Company will be presenting an online retail shop (Le Marché) and a cheese wheel cracking competition.
