FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 29, 2026

WHAT/WHO:
The mysteries of the paranormal, the legends of New Orleans, and some of the industry's most recognized investigators and authors will converge at New Orleans ParaCon, taking place July 31 through August 2, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans French Quarter. The three-day event invites paranormal enthusiasts, investigators, history lovers, and curious newcomers to explore the unexplained through immersive presentations, workshops, panels, and evening ghost-hunting experiences.

Set against the backdrop of one of America's most haunted cities, New Orleans ParaCon offers attendees a unique opportunity to learn from leading voices in the paranormal community while experiencing the rich cultural traditions that make New Orleans a worldwide destination for mystery, folklore, and supernatural intrigue.

Featured guests include paranormal personalities and experts such as Patti Negri, John Zaffis, Father Sebastiaan, Dr. Bill Slevin, and acclaimed author Sam Baltrusis, along with a distinguished lineup of investigators, researchers, educators, and cultural practitioners.  Featured local speakers and appearances include Voodoo Authentica, Louisiana Ghost Busters, Vampire Apothecary, and New Orleans Paranormal Society.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can participate in free educational workshops and paid classes covering topics such as ghost hunting techniques, psychic development, metaphysics, paranormal research, vampire culture, Native American spirituality, and New Orleans Voodoo traditions. Interactive panels and question-and-answer sessions will provide opportunities for guests to engage directly with experts and fellow enthusiasts.

In addition to daytime programming, ParaCon will offer exclusive evening paranormal investigations, cemetery ghost hunts, and special after-hours experiences designed to immerse participants in the haunted history and supernatural lore of New Orleans.

Vendor exhibits featuring paranormal equipment, books, artwork, collectibles, and specialty merchandise will be open throughout the weekend, offering attendees the chance to connect with creators, researchers, and organizations from across the paranormal community.  In addition to the vendor area, the Gettysburg Museum of Haunted Objects will have a traveling museum open to the Paracon for guests to explore.
