Chef Jason Goodenough
Carrollton Market shines under Chef Goodenough
Chef Jason Goodenough got his taste for cooking while attending Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He then went to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, where his passion flourished. He went on to work for a series of distinguished restaurants in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., before landing in New Orleans.
After working with world-renowned chefs such as Georges Perrier and Masaharu Moimoto, Goodenough was ready to make his mark on New Orleans. He started his local carrier at Emeril’s NOLA Restaurant in the French Quarter, as well as working as a private chef. He went on to open his own restaurant, Carrollton Market.
Carrollton Market is a modern bistro, serving southern fare with a sophisticated yet simple approach. Chef Goodenough takes traditional Louisiana ingredients and cooks them in a non-traditional way.
