Appointed President of Les Dames d’Escoffier
Chef Dee Lavigne is the CEO and owner of Deelightful Roux School of Cooking in New Orleans. The school offers immersive, hands-on Creole and Cajun cooking classes that blend culinary skills with the rich history of Louisiana’s food culture. As the Director of Culinary Programming at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, Chef Dee also leads weekly cooking classes and private demonstrations, showcasing New Orleans cuisine to both locals and visitors.
With more than eight years of experience running Deelightful Cupcakes, a custom desserts business, and holding previous leadership roles at Whole Foods Market, Chef Dee brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her culinary ventures. She creates unforgettable experiences that bridge culture, community, and cuisine.
Chef Dee is the appointed President of the New Orleans chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, the international women in hospitality non-profit founded in 1973. She began her role on September 1, 2024.
