Lakeview Architecture

Named for its close proximity to Lake Pontchartrain, Lakeview is a homey residential neighborhood filled with framed cottages and ranch-style homes with waterfront views typical of 20th century architectural styles. As more and more people settled here after World War II, bungalow style homes appeared throughout the streets as well.
