New Orleans Fall Festivals
Celebrate the Food, Music, Cocktails and Fun of Fall.
Even before Thanksgiving rolls around, New Orleanians give thanks for the food, music, arts and cultural events served up every autumn. Ooh la la! Mid-September’s New Orleans Burlesque Festival keeps the French Quarter bumping and grinding while neighborhood pride is on display during the Treme Fall Fest, a weekend of music and art benefiting the iconic St. Augustine Catholic Church. Stars twinkle and bright lights illuminate the red carpet at the internationally lauded New Orleans Film Festival. Look for it in mid-October, the same time the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival takes over Lafayette Square. Halloween is huge, with multiple parades and parties, and usually unfolding the same weekend that Voodoo Music + Arts draws a global audience of music fans and creatives to City Park. Faux Real dishes alternative arts and performance while Uptown on Oak Street the Po-Boy Festival pays homage to New Orleans’ patron saint of sandwich.
