Whitney White Linen Night

Every year on the first Saturday in August, Whitney White Linen Night takes over downtown New Orleans with a sea of white attire. The event honors the talented local artists and galleries that take up shop along Julia Street in the Warehouse/Arts District. Everyone in New Orleans is invited to don their favorite white linen apparel and head out to Julia Street for an evening of gallery hopping, art shopping, food, and drink.

Food and drink are available with a pre-purchased ticket from the White Linen Night website on the street with live music to accompany.

The Julia Street Block Party is free for all to attend. Food & beverage tickets are $10.

Contemporary Arts Center Afterparty

The White Linen Night after party at the Contemporary Arts Center costs $10 to attend (but is free for CAC members) and tickets can be purchased at the door or at the 600 block of Julia Street from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Cool Down Lounge

To enter the Cool Down Lounge at 743 Camp Street, you must purchase a ticket on-site for $50 ($40 for CAC members). Tickets include two complimentary drinks, light bites, private restrooms, and seating with air conditioning, plus access to the CAC Afterparty.

All proceeds go to the CAC and Arts District New Orleans.
