Jazz & Heritage Concert Series
Kick off the new year at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center at 1225 N. Rampart St. This January, catch a different artist on Friday and Saturday nights. The lineup includes Mark Braud’s New Orleans Jazz Giants (Jan. 10), Victor Campbell (Jan. 11), Mikhala "Jazz Muffin" Iversen (Jan. 17), Jason Marsalis (Jan. 18), The Pfister Sisters (Jan. 24), Jason Stewart Quintet with Donald Vega (Jan. 25), Panorama Brass Band (Jan. 31), and Steve Masakowski Family & Friends (Feb. 1). Tickets are $10 each, plus fees.
Wax Poet + Helen Gillet
On January 10 at The Broadside, catch cellist Helen Gillet and Wax Poet, the original indie pop project of Rob Kellner. Tickets are $13 in advance.
Phantogram - Running Through Colors Tour
Indie pop band Phantogram stops at the House of Blues this January 27. Tickets are $55+.
The Temptations + The Four Tops
The Temptations, often referred to as American music royalty, alongside The Four Tops, make their stop at the Saenger Theatre this January 28. Enjoy songs like “My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone,” and more.
