As one of several parades that roll on the evening of January 6, Funky Uptown Krewe is making our live music roundup because of their theme: “Everybody Get Your Funk On!” The parade will feature the drum patterns of DJ Mannie Fresh as he performs a full DJ set on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar.
