From performance stages to archival collections to community-focused initiatives, opportunities to champion, share, and celebrate our homegrown culture that moves the world continue to unfold - and doing it together takes our impact even farther!


In case you missed it, the Jazz & Heritage Concert Series presented by Goldfarb Financial returns on October 3rd; applications are open for the 2027 Jazz Fest Volunteer Photographer Program; the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival is seeking volunteers, and more!

The Jazz & Heritage Concert Series presented by Goldfarb Financial returns with an evening of Salsa moves and Latin grooves with Conjunto Tierra Linda! Making their Jazz & Heritage Concert Series debut, Conjunto Tierra Linda presents selections from their repertoire of Salsa covers, interpretations of Cuban son-montuno, and originals!

Tickets are $10. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the concert begins promptly at 8:00 pm in the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. Seating is general admission and limited, so please register in advance. All proceeds from this concert series directly support New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation Programs.

Applications for the 2027 Jazz Fest Volunteer Photographer Program are open! Don't miss the opportunity to work alongside the Jazz & Heritage Archive to capture and document the famed New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. Photography captured at the Festival will join the Archive's historic collection, preserving the story of Jazz Fest for future generations.

Participating photographers will maintain ownership of their images while granting permission to the Foundation to use them for educational and promotional purposes.

Join the essential on-the-ground team keeping the energy going and the vibes high as a volunteer! The Festival is looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to greet & guide guests, support merchandise sales, assist with donations, and more throughout the weekend. No prior volunteer experience is required, and you must be 18 years or older.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation uses proceeds generated by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell and additional funds for year-round programs in education, economic development, and cultural enrichment, including initiatives like the Don "Moose" Jamison Heritage School of Music, Congo Square Lecture Series, Class Got Brass, youth workshops, grants, music industry workshops, and festivals such as the Crescent City Blues & BBQ, Tremé Creole Gumbo, Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco and Congo Square Rhythms. These free programs aim to support Louisiana’s cultural community and are complemented by assets like Jazz & Heritage radio station WWOZ 90.7 FM, the Jazz & Heritage Archive, and the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center.
