What used to be home to Antoine Amédée Peychaud, a Creole apothecary from the French colony of Saint Domingue, has now been turned into a timeless French Quarter cocktail bar. In the mid 1800s, Antoine Amédée Peychuad would prescribe herbal bitters, now known as Peychaud Bitters, out of his home. These same herbal bitters became the main ingredient in New Orlean's official cocktail: the Sazerac. Stop by and see where the magic happened at this classic cocktail bar, located off the courtyard of the Hotel Maison de Ville.
