  • Notes on Covid-19 Operations: Hermann-Grima House (820 St. Louis Street) will be re-opening on Monday, June 1st for self-guided tours of the courtyard only. Through this new tour, we will be able to limit contact while continuing to provide the rich history of the French Quarter in a beautiful outdoor setting. Cleaning will be increased throughout the day, including closing for deep cleaning from noon to 1 PM and again at 3 PM. Staff will wear gloves and masks and visitors are respectfully asked to wear masks while on the property as well.

Built in 1831, Hermann Grima House is a beautiful example of Federal style and Creole architecture. Guided tours offer a glimpse into 19th century daily life and run Thurs-Tues 10am-4pm.
