Each year, some of New Orleans’ best restaurants, taquerias and bars head to Woldenberg Park to battle it out for the title of Top Taco Champion while festgoers reap the rewards of their labor. In addition to the unlimited taco and tequila tastings from some of your favorite eateries across the Crescent City, Top Taco also features live music performances, special guest appearances, interactive activities and more.
The 4th annual Top Taco festival takes place Thursday, March 19 at Woldenberg Park.
Top Taco 2020 Participants
Chefs and mixologists from over 50 different restaurants and bars will serve up an array of dishes and creative cocktails and compete for the coveted awards in four categories: Top Creative Taco, Top Traditional Taco, Top Creative Tequila Cocktail and Top Traditional Margarita.
Participants from Top Taco 2019 included NOLA Cantina, La Cocinita, Espiritu, Barracuda, Juan’s Flying Burrito, Patron, Tres Agaves, Modelo and many more.
What’s a taco without tequila? A host of spirit and beverage participants joined the celebration to offer specially crafted margaritas and more.
