Lovers of literature rejoice - the Crescent City welcomes its first New Orleans Book Festival. The multi-day event will include readings, panel discussions, symposia and keynote speeches and a specially dedicated family day.
Tulane University has partnered with Scholastic and the City of New Orleans to present the festival. The inaugural New Orleans Book Festival takes place March 19-21.
New Orleans Book Festival Guest Speakers
The New Orleans Book Festival will bring the world’s leading authors to Tulane University for a multi-day celebration of their works. Nearly 100 national, regional and local authors will be showcased. Featured authors include:

This year’s featured keynote speakers are Michael Lewis + Sean Tuohy, John Grisham and Malcolm Gladwell.

New Orleans Book Fest Schedule
Day-by-day, the fest will include a mixture of programming including book signings, workshops, keynote speeches and more.
The New Orleans Book Festival will closeout with a Family Day featuring read-alouds, character meet-and-greets, a book fair and much more. Family Day will also include an opening presentation by Dav Pilkey, New York Times bestselling author of the Captain Underpants series.
