Go Fourth on the River is a free event that promises a delightful celebration of the 4th of July, and pays tribute to America's independence. This family-friendly event offers a wide variety of attractions throughout the day.
The highlight of the event is the mesmerizing free fireworks display held over the Mississippi River, stretching between the Gov. Nicholls St. Wharf and the Canal St. Dock. The fireworks display begins at 9 PM and can be enjoyed from both river banks, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.
In addition to the dazzling pyrotechnics, attendees can explore various attractions, such as the Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Canal Place, Riverboat CITY OF NEW ORLEANS, Riverboat CREOLE QUEEN, French Market, and Vue Orleans.
