Festigals is an annual festival that empowers, celebrates, and supports women of all backgrounds, and champions causes related to women’s well-being. The festival features a variety of New Orleans-themed activities, designed for women and by women.
The festival also includes renowned female speakers, local female entrepreneurs’ seminars, and more.
Interactive Culinary Experience

Enjoy an authentic New Orleans dining experience to kick off Festigals! Located at New Orleans School of Cooking, you’ll have food, drinks, and great conversation.
Empowering Tricentennial Luncheon
June 22 at 12:30 p.m.
Head to the Jung Hotel & Residences to take part in this motivating event. Surround yourself with inspiring women, learn about New Orleans’ 300th birthday, and have lunch!
Step Up Second Line Parade
June 22 at 7 p.m.
Take part in a special New Orleans tradition - a second line parade! If you are already a member of a marching krewe, you can sign up to participate in as a marcher in this parade here. The parade will start at the Mardi Gras Museum of Costumes and Culture, wind through the French Quarter, and end at an After-Glow Party at Harrah’s! Registration for this event raises funds to stop domestic violence.
After the Step Up Second Line Parade, there will be an After-Glow Party at Harrah’s New Orleans Casino Theater. Food, drink, and live music from Groovy 7 will be featured!
