The annual Downriver Festival returns to New Orleans every September. The festival celebrates the environmental, cultural, and economic impact of the Mississippi River and the land it built. Check out the live music, educational activities, panels, walking tours and children's activities.

Enjoy live music from dozens of acts and fresh seafood from various vendors. Start the day with a second line to the festival beginning at Jackson Square.

The festival is usually held at the New Orleans Jazz Museum and features various panels about the impacts of the Mississippi River. Stay tuned for updates or check the official website.
