Informally known as the northernmost Caribbean city, New Orleans is a gumbo for diverse cuisine. Restaurants throughout the city reflect the flavors of Haiti, Jamaica and the other Caribbean islands with staples like goat curry, conch fritters and jerk chicken. Innovative spaces make way for fusion restaurants, with creative new dishes at the forefront of many menus. With so many options, now’s the perfect time for a tasting adventure through New Orleans’ Caribbean dining scene.
