As of March 21, 2022, New Orleans has lifted its mandate requiring proof of vaccine or negative COVID test to enter certain businesses. Individuals are not required to wear a mask or face covering with the exception of the following: Healthcare facilities and long-term care settings, as specified in Federal guidelines.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, New Orleans & Company has promoted the highest safety protocols and strongly encouraged visitors to follow guidelines for masking, social distancing, and vaccines for the safety of all who choose New Orleans as a city to live, work, and visit.

Today, Orleans Parish has among the highest vaccination rates in the state.

New Orleans' vaccination rates - both for eligible persons 18 years or older having received at least one dose, and those who are fully vaccinated - have remained strong.
