Late Night Eats in New Orleans

New Orleans is known for being an all-around party town, with a bustling nightlife scene and food to match. If you’re looking for a meal, say, past 10 p.m., this list is for you. Just because the moon is out doesn’t mean that the great food stops. Whether you’re in need of a midnight snack, are seriously jet-lagged or just want a good bite at odd hours, we’ve got the best of the best in late night eats below.

Palm & Pine

Every Friday and Saturday night, head to Palm&Pine for the Late Nite & Happy Hour menu only available from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Enjoy specialty cocktails for as low as $6, and not so small bites including a fried chicken sandwich, tamarind wings and a quarter pounder. Located on the edge of the French Quarter, you can plan to grab a bite to end (or start) your night.

The Delachaise

Fronting historic  St. Charles Avenue, The Delachaise is part wine bar/part bistro, serving up late night eats. Enjoy a French-inspired menu of mussels, steak frites and frog legs as you watch the streetcar trundle by.

Bouligny Tavern

Open until midnight on the weekdays and 1 a.m. on the weekends, Bouligny is your spot for oysters, charcuterie and small plates. The sophisticated gastropub is positioned on a quiet stretch of Magazine Street, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Pan-seared Gulf shrimp and the blue crab claws are menu highlights.

Avenue Pub

With an extensive beer list and better than average pub food, Avenue Pub has long been on the late night dining scene in NOLA. Check out the Dump Truck Fries with Béchamel and lemongrass pulled pork next time you get a midnight craving.

Oceana Grill
