Organized by the Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA) Greater New Orleans Chapter, the wildly popular annual culinary promotion - We Live to Eat (WLTE) Restaurant Week - returns for its fourth year. The weeklong celebration showcasing New Orleans' ever-growing culinary scene is set to run from September 8-14, 2014, offering locals and visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy exclusive discounted two-course lunch ($20 or less) and three-course dinner menus ($39 or less) from more than 50 of the city's most acclaimed dining spots.

"In our fourth year, We Live to Eat has evolved into a beloved culinary program celebrating the best in New Orleans' food scene," said Stan Harris, LRA President and CEO. "The LRA is proud to lead an initiative that encourages consumers to dine-out by highlighting our city's great restaurants at an even more approachable price-point."

New to WLTE will be a special Kick Off Celebration taking place at New Orleans' charming event space, The Chicory, on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 6 p.m. For the first time, this event is open-to-the-public and attendees will be able to sample culinary delights from a handful of participating chefs as they offer a "sneak peek" of their Restaurant Week menus, while imbibing in libations from Stella Artois and NOLA Brewing, as well as specialty wines. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Louisiana Restaurant Association Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that exists to enhance the restaurant community through expanded educational and career opportunities. Also new this year, WLTE has partnered with Eat Fit NOLA - a unique program that highlights the better-for-you items right on the menu, making it effortless for anyone to eat nutritiously, anywhere in the city. Throughout Restaurant Week, conscientious diners can indulge in WLTE offerings without the guilt.
