New Orleans, LA - The Crescent City’s most beloved bakeries will compete for The Best Croissant in New Orleans on Sunday, May 20th – judged by a panel of renowned chefs and celebrity guests – at the Southern Food & Beverage Museum (SoFAB).

On the heels of last year’s highly successful New Orleans’ Battle of the Best Baguette, SoFAB is asking for your top three favorite croissants in the city for the ultimate croissant battle. In order of preference, vote for your favorite croissants here. The bakeries with the most votes will qualify for the grand finale, consisting of a blind-tasting by panel judges.

Guests attending the May 20th competition will sample the freshly-baked croissants by the top-tier finalists – paired with a selection of jam, cheese, charcuterie and a complimentary glass of wine – and cast their votes for the Fan Prize. Judges will then award the Grand Prix to the winner of The Best Croissant in New Orleans.

Organized by French Morning Magazine, general admission tickets to the Croissant Battle are $25; NatFAB/SoFAB members and early bird tickets are available for $20. At the door, tickets are $30. In addition to the croissant tasting, VIP Admission is available and includes:

  • Cheeses & Charcuterie with Jams
  • Crème Brulèe French Toast
  • Fruit-filled Crèpes with Fresh Strawberry Whipped Cream
  • Wayne Jacobs Smokehouse Roasted Smoked Sausage Coins
  • Scrambled Eggs with Cheeses
  • Unlimited Mimosas, Coffee, Tea, and Iced Tea
