In celebration of Tujague's 160th Anniversary, the French Quarter dining institution will host a one-night-only dinner prepared by renowned Chef John Besh. On Thursday, August 25, 2016, guests can enjoy a five course meal with wine pairings to benefit the John Besh Foundation.

According to Besh, "I am thrilled to be invited to participate celebrating Tujague's 160th year. I love the fact that we have many restaurants over 100 years old in New Orleans and our creole traditions are continuing for the next generation. We have the only indigenous urban cuisine left in America. We need to continue to celebrate those that have perpetuated this beautiful and delicious culture."

Priced at $115 per person (all-inclusive) the evening will start at 7PM with a champagne reception, followed by Besh's five course menu with wine pairings.

First Course
Fried Eggs, Caviar and Green Garlic
Château de Montfort, Crémant de Loire

Second Course
Daube Glace with Foie Gras, Horseradish and Gribiche
Paul Buisse, Sauvignon Blanc, Touraine

Third Course
Blue Crab Bisque with Cognac Cream and Tapioca

Duck Jambalaya with Fig Jus and Pickled Mustard Greens

In addition to what is certain to be a memorable culinary experience, guests will also be able to purchase signed/ personalized cookbooks from Besh, as well as signed Tujague's cookbooks from culinary historian and author Poppy Tooker, who will also be in attendance.
