Attendees to Learn New Triage and Advanced Practices Trends
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 17, 2025
WHO/WHAT
The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) is the leading organization representing emergency nursing professionals. ENA addresses relevant issues in emergency care, publishes professional guidelines, and provides education for emergency nurses. Founded in 1970, ENA is an international professional organization with nearly 45,000 members.
Approximately 4,000 attendees and 800 exhibitors are expected, and participants from across the United States and several countries around the globe will represent various facets of emergency nursing and emergency care.
This event will highlight triage, pediatric care and many other key topics and trends across more than 100 education sessions. Attendees will engage in hands-on workshops designed to enhance their skills, ensuring they leave with valuable knowledge and practical experience that can significantly impact their professional practice.
Other Key Issues and Challenges to be Addressed:
Insufficient Staffing: Understaffing is a primary concern that results in increased workloads for nurses, which can compromise the quality of patient care.
Workplace Violence: Emergency nurses are particularly susceptible to violence, with studies indicating high rates of both verbal and physical assault.
Job Burnout: Patient boarding, higher acuity patients, and the pressure to deliver quality care under challenging conditions contribute to stress, fatigue and burnout among emergency nurses.
Mental health and well-being: The ongoing need to create healthy work environments in emergency departments is necessitated by the number of emergency nurses who have left the specialty, particularly post-pandemic, amid numerous challenges.
