Sidecar NOLA Patio & Oyster Bar opens its doors in the Warehouse District, offering a menu of fresh seafood and tropical-inspired cocktails. Opened by David Brown and the team behind The Rusty Nail and Cooter Brown’s, the menu is inspired by Louisiana’s patio and outdoor dining culture, committing to an accessible yet high-quality menu such as lump crabmeat fries and custom blend burgers with bleu cheese and crispy leeks.  The cocktail list focuses on fresh ingredients for their sub-tropical libations, like their signature Mai Tai.

Guests can enjoy dinner and cocktails on the spacious, airy patio or in the expansive second-floor deck, offering lush greenery, fans, misters and string lights, plus a mural by artist Madison Roy. The restaurants central location offers accessibility to not just locals and visitors in the Warehouse District, but to the Lower Garden District, Downtown New Orleans and beyond.

“Sidecar has been a year in the making, and while we did not plan to open in a pandemic, we’re certainly excited to offer our neighbors a safe outdoor space for great food and drinks,” said owner David Brown. “We’ve created this space to be as good for a weeknight dinner as it would be for an after-work happy hour or even a big football game day.”

Sidecar NOLA is launching their oyster menu, featuring Louisiana favorites plus visiting oysters, starting in early September 2020. They also offer reservations for private event space from intimate dinners to restaurant buyouts plus a curated catering menu.

Located at 1114 Constance St. in the Warehouse District, Sidecar NOLA’s current hours are Wednesday-Saturday from 5-11 p.m., with plans to expand hours. For more information, please visit www.sidecarnola.com or follow @SidecarNOLA on Facebook and Instagram.
