FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – August 14, 2025
WHAT
The 132nd Imperial Council Session and 114th Imperial Court Session of The Historic Prince Hall Shriners, officially known as Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South America and Its Jurisdictions, Inc. (AEAONMS) will be held Aug. 15–22, 2025, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
More than 6,000 members and guests from over 250 constituent temples worldwide will gather for a week of meetings, fellowship and community engagement. The attendees will flood local hotels, restaurants, shops, and event venues to provide a substantial boost to the New Orleans economy. Known for its charitable work and vibrant traditions, AEAONMS embraces the core principles of the Masonic Order while expanding its reach through high-visibility service initiatives.
The Prince Hall Shriners’ National Community Health Initiative (NCHI) will again host its annual Oliver and Martha Washington Memorial Community Health Walk. This event will help to raise monetary proceeds that will be distributed amongst various health organizations, to include the American Diabetes Association and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Over the years, this event, and others, have assisted the Prince Hall Shriners in donating well over $1 million to the ADA for diabetes education and research in underserved communities.
Along with the standard private meetings, workshops, fashion shows, informational sessions, and luncheons that fill the agenda, attendees will participate in a series of community-focused programs designed to make a lasting local impact. There will be several mentoring, mental health and veteran workshops; the renowned Imperial Clown and Bicycle units will visit local healthcare facilities; and the Project C.A.R.E. (Charity Always Reaches Everyone) community outreach initiative will again be providing relief and assistance to the homeless population in the downtown New Orleans area.
