Second Harvest Food Bank is seeking committed volunteers throughout the year to support our child hunger programs
Every day SHFB is preparing meals to feed children in need across the Greater New Orleans area, volunteers are needed to help in the Community Kitchen.
This summer at Second Harvest Food Bank volunteers are needed to support the summer feeding program. The summer feeding program provides nutritious meals to thousands of children who might otherwise go hungry in the summer months when schools are closed. Our goal is to serve approximately 3,000 children at summer camp sites and programs throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Join our staff and a team of volunteers to prepare daily breakfast and lunch meals that are both child-friendly and high in nutrition.
