(New Orleans, La.) - Make plans now to be at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas on Friday, September 30 for the 7th annual Scales & Ales, benefiting the Aquarium's education programs and conservation efforts.

Partygoers will enjoy brews from Abita Brewing Company, wine, specialty cocktails, and delicious cuisine from more than 40 local restaurants while experiencing the exceptional sights and sounds of the Aquarium after dark.

Since 2010, Scales & Ales has raised more than $850,000 for the Aquarium's education and conservation programs.

"For more than 25 years, Audubon Aquarium has built an appreciation of the underwater world," said Ron Forman, Audubon President and CEO. "Continued support by the community through events like Scales & Ales is the keystone of our fundraising success - all of which supports critical conservation efforts throughout the world and our mission to inspire the next generation to celebrate the wonders of nature."
