Throughout the 2018 football season, New Orleans’ renowned bar maven Abigail Gullo will offer Bounty Black & Gold as an exclusive game-day special at Compère LapinChef Nina Compton’s award-winning restaurant serving eclectic Caribbean-inspired fare. Stirred by the passions of Larry Miller and Chef Nina, the Bounty Black & Gold $15 combines equal parts of root beer with St. Lucia’s signature Bounty rum – paying homage to Nina, who is native to St. Lucia. Served in small Bounty buckets, the liquid hues of black and gold are sure to satiate Saints fanatics’ taste buds. Additionally, game-day revelers can enjoy Sunday brunch offerings such as Goat Bolognese with potato gnocchi and egg; CL Wagyu Burger with caramelized onion and taleggio cheese; Coconut French Toast with a pecan rum sauce; and Fried Green Tomatoes with bacon and eggs. Smaller dishes include Zucchini Fritters with green bean remoulade; Chilled Shrimp with coconut curry and tostones; and Smoked Hamachi served with an everything doughnut. Pythian Market

New Orleans’ urban food collective – Pythian Market – is the ultimate game-day locale offering Sunday football programming, complete with live game day screenings, tailgate goodies, post-game celebrations and more. With TVs throughout the space, guests can catch the action from morning ‘til night. Beginning at 11AM, Bar 1908 will begin serving beer and Southern Comfort NOLA Cola and vendors such as La Cocinita, Fete au Fete, and Squeezed will offer an array of brunch treats. During football season, guests can participate in Pythian Market’s brackets/loyalty program for a chance to win the “Ultimate Tailgate Package,” which consists of a full tailgate package for 10 people with food items from all vendors at Pythian Market. Along with bottomless mimosas $15, Sunday brunch offerings include the Toups Burger – buckboard bacon, bourbon BBQ sauce, pickled jalapeños, aged cheddar, pomme frites; Poutine Poboy – chicken bologna, gravy, cheese curds and baked farm egg; and Smoked Pastrami Hash with brabant potato, caramelized onions, farm eggs, and smoked tomato jam.
