Convention Sales & Services

Rachel Avery has accepted the Director of Convention Services and Events role which was posted internally and externally in late August.

Rachel has grown professionally with our organization through multiple promotions and has  contributed instrumentally to our success over the last decade.

Our shared vision for a services environment that fosters creativity, customized client solutions, increased member engagement, enhanced business opportunities, and world class service to all of our organizational and client stakeholders will be a continuous and complex venture that will require the input and contributions of every team member.

MaryBeth Guarisco has been promoted to Senior Manager of Specialty Services and Programming.

Mary Beth has made extraordinary contributions to our team model and structure in her tenure with the CVB. As we move forward in building a Convention Services Team that is designed for continuous innovation and client satisfaction, we are thrilled to engage MaryBeth’s talent working with our clients, and our members to sell the city she loves!

In addition to the accounts she currently services, MaryBeth will be working with Rachel Avery and Cara Banasch in the redesign of our convention services department along with the valued contributions of all other Services Team members.  We anticipate that the new model will incorporate some customized client solutions and specialized programming which will evolve from our current model.
