NEW ORLEANS - September 25, 2014 - Prospect New Orleans is pleased to announce two new partnerships with The New Orleans Advocate and Hyatt Regency New Orleans for its third Biennial iteration - Prospect.3: Notes for Now (P.3).

With 58 national and international artists showing in 18 venues around New Orleans, as well as five established programmatic partners, Prospect New Orleans is thrilled to have these two newly solidified partners. "As an organization, we thrive on partnerships," said Prospect New Orleans Executive Director Brooke Davis Anderson. "We're an art project that happens because of the fantastic partners we have in New Orleans, ranging from nonprofit to for-profit businesses, all without whom we would have a much more difficult time realizing our program."

"As the hometown paper, The New Orleans Advocate is proud to be able to offer Prospect.3 a unique opportunity to gain exposure for the Biennial. Our readers are avid supporters of the New Orleans art community," said John Georges, owner and Publisher of The Advocate.

The New Orleans Advocate partnership will include an official map and guide for P.3, as a supplement for visitors to fully experience the Biennial. The map and guide, which will be designed, printed and distributed by The Advocate, will include general information on the Biennial, a local map highlighting venue locations around the city, as well as all events or programming occurring in conjunction with P.3. In addition to being distributed to Advocate subscribers, the guide will also be available for free at locations throughout the greater New Orleans area.

"We are incredibly grateful that John Georges is such a strong supporter of the arts as well as such a great supporter of contemporary art," Anderson said. "Prospect New Orleans is thrilled to be working with his team on one of our primary marketing tools."

Another new partnership for Prospect.3 is with the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, which comes on board after a successful collaboration during P.2. "Hyatt Regency New Orleans is pleased to be in partnership with Prospect.3," stated General Manager Michael O. Smith. "As a proud supporter of cultural and progressive initiatives in New Orleans, it is thrilling to have this significant opportunity to showcase emerging contemporary artists from our local community, as well as the national and international universe."

Centrally located in downtown New Orleans, the AAA Four Diamond property will serve as the official accommodations for P.3 artists and press during the opening week of P.3 events this October.

"After such a successful partnership during P.2, we are so pleased to be continuing our relationship with the Hyatt Regency," Anderson said. "This hotel is Prospect New Orleans's hotel of choice for all P.3 visitors during our 13-week run."
