HELEN BRETT PARTNERS WITH LOUISIANA HUMANE SOCIETY TO TREAT LOCAL PETS IN NEED
Guests with Pet Toys or Treats at this Weekend's Jewelry Show Receive Discounted Admission

(New Orleans, LA) - Helen Brett Enterprises today announced that it has partnered with the Humane Society of Louisiana to bring joy to the lives of local pets in need. Visitors to this weekend's Helen Brett International Jewelry and Merchandise Show at the New Orleans Convention Center will receive discounted admission when they donate a pet treat or toy to the local Humane Society.

The popular jewelry and merchandise marketplace, which is open only to documented business owners, kicks off this Friday, May 19 through Monday, May 22 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in Halls I-2 through J. Helen Brett buyers are encouraged to bring pet food, toys and assorted treats for homeless animals to the "cash and carry" show which debuted more than 65 years ago and attracts more than 10,000 buyers from across Gulf Coast.

Buyers can bring two guests each day of the show. Passes for the first guest are only $15 when a buyer brings one donation and only $10 for the second guest when the buyer brings two donations.

Helen Brett officials are accepting numerous pet donations including dog and cat food, cat litter and dog toys. For a complete list of suggested pet supplies and for complete details on the Helen Brett International Jewelry and Merchandise Show, visit www.helenbrett.com.

The Humane Society of Louisiana cares for hundreds of abused and neglected animals at any given time, and Humane Society officials say pet drives such as the one at this weekend's Helen Brett Show are integral for its daily operations. This weekend's Helen Brett show hours are Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Show buyers and guests must be over 16 years of age for admission.
