Celebrate the New Year at NOON at the Louisiana Children’s Museum

New Year’s Eve Kids’ Countdown is Sunday, December 31

What:              Louisiana Children’s Museum’s New Year’s Eve Kids’ Countdown

When:             Sunday, December 31

9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with a NOON Countdown to 2018.

Please Note:  The LCM will close at 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Where:            Louisiana Children’s Museum

420 Julia Street, New Orleans

How: Throughout the day, create a one-of-a-kind paper bag party hat and a festive noisemaker, get your face painted and take photos in front of a special Tricentennial “Happy  Birthday New Orleans” backdrop.

Dance and enjoy music by the local Blu Kru Brass Band from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.

At NOON, ring in the New Year with a traditional countdown to 2018 complete with a colorful confetti toss, balloon release, and special Tricentennial surprises! Then join in the kids’ second line parade following the Museum’s noon Countdown to 2018. 

Cost: Special event admission is $10 per person for the general public (ages 12 months +) and $5 per person for LCM members.
