New Orleans & Company was honored with four separate awards from two different publications voted on by travel advisors and readers
New Orleans & Company earned the prestigious Gold statuette for Best Culinary Destination – U.S.; the Silver statuette for Best Tourism Board – U.S.; and the Bronze statuette for Best City Destination – Domestic in the 9th annual Travvy Awards. New Orleans & Company also won a Recommend’s Readers' Choice Award for Best Destination – Culinary.
The annual Travvy Awards — where travel advisors vote on the best in the travel industry — were held Thursday, November 2 to recognize the highest standards of excellence in the travel industry by honoring travel companies, travel products, travel agencies, and destinations for their outstanding achievements. Thousands of votes were cast, and the industry came together. From suppliers to advisors and everyone in between, all in attendance were there to cheer each other on as their colleagues and peers were awarded for being game-changers and innovators of travel.
For over 50 years, Recommend has been helping travel advisors sell travel by providing in-depth destination and product information through coverage found in their travel advisor magazine and website. Recommend’s readers vote for their favorite destinations, hotels, resorts, tour operators and more to determine winners in each category.
“It’s humbling to receive multiple awards from different publications that were determined from the people who know us best: travel advisors,” said Walt Leger, President and CEO of New Orleans & Company. “These awards are a testament to our New Orleans & Company team and our partners. Their passion to making New Orleans a better place to live, work and visit is unmatched.”
