"In a city so deeply rooted in the arts, New Orleans Museum Month throws open the doors to many of our cultural institutions; an opportunity that is not to be missed," said Susan Taylor, The Montine McDaniel Freeman Director of the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA). "As the founders of Museum Month, NOMA is delighted to collaborate with our CVB partners on the fourth annual iteration of this significant initiative."

"There's always something new to discover in New Orleans, especially at our city's rich and vibrant cultural institutions, and New Orleans Museum Month helps create an environment ripe for discovery," said Priscilla Lawrence, executive director at The Historic New Orleans Collection (THNOC). "At THNOC, our guided tours take center stage for Museum Month-visitors can stroll through the mid-century French Quarter home of our founders, or learn about the neighborhood's various architectural styles as seen in the seven historic buildings making up our Royal Street campus."

"We are excited to incorporate New Orleans Museum Month into our annual summer campaigns, further encouraging locals to get out and explore the city," said Stephen Perry, President and CEO of the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau. "There is an amazing number of museums in this city that range from multicultural to history, nature and so much more, giving locals and visitors alike an incredible selection to choose from. This August, we encourage you to beat the New Orleans heat and immerse yourself in the educational side of our historic city."

In addition to giving locals an opportunity to visit some of the city's most celebrated museums, the summer campaign also drives business to New Orleans area museums and pushes membership which can be enjoyed year-round.
