WHO: The New Orleans Mission, the largest faith-based, private service provider for the homeless in the Greater New Orleans area
WHAT: The New Orleans Mission has once again partnered with Q50 Races to present a nature-driven 5K race set in the beautiful landscape of Louisiana’s Northshore. The annual Big Easy Big Heart 5K Race will raise critical funding for the New Orleans Mission.
WHEN: Saturday, July 17, 2021, 9AM
WHERE: Fontainebleau State Park, Mandeville, Louisiana
WHY: The New Orleans Mission’s numerous programs and services are designed to holistically meet the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of struggling individuals. The Big Easy Big Heart Race will raise critical funding to relieve human suffering in the Greater New Orleans region, including poverty, hunger, homelessness, exploitation and oppression.
The New Orleans Mission’s strategy is to RESCUE people from unimaginable circumstances, strengthen the RECOVERY efforts of those that seek support, and foster the successful RE-ENGAGEMENT back into society as healthy, disciplined, skilled people ready to lead a sustainable, productive, purpose-driven life.
