New event space showcases a colorful, curated collection of art by local New Orleans artist, Becky Fos
New Orleans, LA – May 15, 2025 – The New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District recently unveiled a new event space within the hotel, The Gallery. Located on the first level of the hotel adjacent to the lobby, the 740 sq ft room has been transformed and is now showcasing a curated art collection by New Orleans artist, Becky Fos. The Gallery is open to the public daily unless closed for a private event.
“The hotel is thrilled to announce this partnership with Becky Fos and offer a new unique, private event space that showcases the work of one of our area’s finest talents,” said General Manager Joe Blanchek. The renovated event space will serve as a vibrant extension of Fos’ main gallery, displaying her signature style – an explosion of color, texture, and whimsy – that captures the spirit of the Crescent City and beyond.
Becky Fos has become a household name in the contemporary art scene, known for her bold and joyful use of color, transforming everyday subjects into captivating visual experiences. The Gallery will feature an exclusive selection of her works, including original paintings, limited-edition prints, and new collections inspired by the energy and culture of New Orleans.
In addition to housing Fos’ artwork, The Gallery is now accepting reservations for private events. The modern event room can hold up to fifty guests for a seated event or up to seventy-five for a reception.
