New Orleans CVB cited for excellence by Corporate & Incentive Travel magazine subscribers

NEW ORLEANS (Oct. 22, 2007) – The New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau (New Orleans CVB) is pleased to announce it has been chosen by Corporate & Incentive Travel magazine as a recipient of its 2007 Award of Excellence for the sixth time.

The prestigious 2007 Award of Excellence is a mark of distinction for CVBs, hotels, resorts and conference centers. The New Orleans CVB received this honor because of superior service and support, promotional assistance, and high level of supplier facility and venue information. The New Orleans CVB’s coordination and liaison with local attractions and transportation and comprehensive assistance with accommodations and site inspections was also recognized.

The Corporate & Incentive Travel Award of Excellence was created 23 years ago by publisher Harvey Grotsky. The magazine’s 40,000 subscribers are offered the opportunity via an open ballot in Corporate & Incentive Travel to select the winners based on certain criteria.

“The New Orleans CVB is honored to receive the Corporate & Incentive Travel Award of Excellence for the sixth time,” said Nikki Nicholson, vice president of convention sales for the New Orleans CVB. “In New Orleans, our goal is to blend convenience and value to produce successful meetings that create lasting memories and achieve a corporation’s strategic goals.
