NEW ORLEANS – November 12, 2018 – The President and CEO of New Orleans & Company, Stephen Perry, announced today that Stephen R. Hahn, a 29-year hospitality industry veteran, will become Senior Vice President of Convention Sales and Strategies for New Orleans & Company effective early in December. 

“Our board of directors and I conducted a national search with the most highly regarded executive search firm in our industry to ensure that we considered a wide and diverse range of talents and experience. We had an overwhelming response from highly qualified candidates from across the country and from all facets of the hospitality industry,” said Stephen Perry, President and CEO of New Orleans & Company. “It was simply the finest field of candidates we have ever seen interested in one of our senior leadership positions. That says a lot about our company, its reputation, and our destination. After considerable and lengthy due diligence on seven finalists, and multiple visits to New Orleans, we decided that Stephen Hahn was the finest and best choice among a sterling field of national candidates. We are confident that he will excel in continuing the momentum that our current and prior teams have built before him.”

A three-decade Marriott veteran, Hahn most recently served as Regional Vice President for Brighton Management, LLC managing a multi-brand portfolio of full and select service properties at Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt and Wyndham. While in the capacity of regional vice president he led executive management teams for each property.

Prior to his service at Brighton Management, LLC, Hahn spent nearly 30 years working for Marriott International. From 2011 – 2018, he was Market Sales Leader for Marriott International’s Southwest Area Sales Organization, Western Region. As Market Sales Leader, Hahn’s responsibilities included managing a portfolio of hotels (39) ranging from luxury, soft brand, full, select and extended stay properties. Aggregate sales exceeded $676 million across Southern California under his management. As leader of the Area Sales Account Organization, Hahn managed teams within the Greater Los Angeles/Anaheim market driving revenue and share across accounts, segments and channels at these properties.

In addition to Hahn’s experience, he has also earned several industry awards for outstanding performance, including:
