New Orleans-based Hyperphlyy is pleased to debut their first full length album, Out The Mud, which is a harmonious fusion of contemporary country, old school music and gospel. Out The Mud is the brainchild of Grammy nominated Danica Hart, Trea Swindle and Devynn Hart, three vocalists that blend a mix of the sweet and southern sound of country as well as the smooth and sexy sound of soul.

“We have been working so hard on Out The Mud and we’re excited for the world to hear it,” said Danica. “We went back to our roots and put our heart into each and every song. You’ll notice that the songs contain undeniable elements of classic soul and gospel, but most of the tracks fall within the parameters of contemporary country, which is why the title is so appropriate. I am in love with this album and I know others will be too.”

Out The Mud features original music carefully honed by the band’s consistent schedule of performing. The cohesiveness of Hyperphlyy has not gone unnoticed as they have garnered thousands of fans from all over the world and have received hundreds of thousands of views online of their performances. In July, the band performed as the top act for the 21st Annual New Orleans Festival in Innsbruck, where they represented The Big Easy in Austria with their southern vibes and music. Fondly known by New Orleanians, Hyperphlyy will host a local album launch and concert at Rock’n’Bowl in New Orleans on Friday, August 2 at 8 p.m., the new album and other merchandise will be available for purchase onsite and the three vocalists will be signing CDs after their performance. Tickets are $12 and available at the door or online.

According to Trea, “I think it’s safe to say that we are introducing a new genre on this album and we have had so much fun putting it all together. A lot of people say they might not listen to country music, but it is so important to know that this is music for the soul. It doesn't matter who you are or where you’re are from, there is absolutely something on this album that anyone can identify with.”

Out The Mud is preceded by a 2016 Made For Me EP, which featured some of the first songs that Danica and Trea wrote together. Family is at the heart of Hyperphlyy, which was founded by first cousins, Danica and Trea, who have been singing together since they were toddlers in their hometown of Poplarville, Mississippi. The recent addition of Danica's sister, Devynn, has only added to their sweet harmonies and captivating stage presence. The three singers draw upon their family ties to create a connection with every audience they encounter. At this past year’s French Quarter Festival, Hyperphlyy was called up to the main stage by New Orleans legend Irma Thomas. Last year, Hyperphlyy toured the South East for their Freedom Tour. The band has also recently worked with Louisiana’s LeRoux to record music for LeRoux’s new upcoming record.

“Family is the most important thing, and it brings me so much joy to be able to make music with my sister and cousin,” said Devynn. “We have so much fun every time we start singing together and I think that definitely shines through in the music that we create. We are so grateful for this opportunity to release our first official album and thankful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality.”

Out The Mud was produced by Brentt Arcement and Jack Miele. According to Brentt, "Hyperphlyy’s songs can tug on your heart strings with a tender yet powerful ballad, then have you pumping your fist in unison to the pulse of hard-hitting rock and roll. We wanted to combine the sounds from Hyperphlyy’s country roots with their New Orleans soul. Bringing that together with Hyperphlyy was the most unique thing that we may hear musically for a long time. This album works really well. I am thrilled to be part of something so special, which I’m confident is going to be extremely successful.”

Others who lent their talents to the album include Hyperphlyy’s manager Jeff Glixman, who has produced, mixed or remastered artists such as Kansas, Gary Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, The Georgia Satellites and Black Sabbath. According to Danica, “We are very lucky to have Jeff Glixman as our manager. We met him backstage during a concert with Louisiana’s LeRoux. He was intrigued by Trea’s boots, so she invited him to one of our shows. The rest is history.”
