Debuting for 2020, Mardi Gras World introduces the NOLAween photo experience from October 1-31st at Mardi Gras World, included with every self-guided tour admission inside Mardi Gras World. NOLAween will feature an area with fall-themed photo opportunities for all ages, allowing for guests to experience the studio props in an all-new way. Spooky characters, jack-o-lanterns, and whimsical autumn elements will be found throughout, with some props standing as tall as 14 feet. Along with the photo opportunities, children can participate in a scavenger hunt within the NOLAween photo area, and receive a treat bag from the gift shop when their scavenger hunt is completed. Children are welcome to wear costumes.

Knowing that Halloween-themed events in New Orleans may change for 2020, Mardi Gras World wanted to provide an option for locals and tourists to experience the festive autumn spirit within its walls. With a warehouse space of 250,000 square feet, Mardi Gras World offers tours in which social distancing is easily achievable. Mardi Gras World will require all guests to wear masks, and will encourage keeping distance from other parties experiencing respective areas. Hand sanitizer stations are also provided.

Mardi Gras World continues to offer self-guided tours daily from 10:30am-4:30pm, seven days a week. Each tour begins with a 15-minute video followed by guests being able to see artists working on next year’s Mardi Gras, hundreds of Mardi Gras props and floats, and the additional NOLAween photo area. Admission for Mardi Gras World’s self-guided tour and NOLAween photo experience is $22.00 for adults, $17.00 for military and seniors, and $14.00 for children. Children in costume will receive $2.00 off of admission.
