(New Orleans, LA) February 13, 2017 -What better way to kick off Mardi Gras than at Café Reconcile's "Pay What You Can Day"? Our guests will have theopportunity to meet Reconcile's current students, who have been diligently working and applying their skills in the café. Come celebrate Mardi Gras with Class 1 of 2017 at "Pay What You Can Day" onTuesday, February 21st from 11am to 2:30pm. All are welcome to join!

Guests are encouraged topay any amount they wish for their first meal.Additional meals will be provided for a minimum of $5 each.Donations allow Reconcile to continue to provide workforce development training and support services to100 youth each year.

We have anexciting menu with King Cake Bread Pudding that guests won't want to miss! Customers will determine the price of their meal and choose between three entrées and two desserts. The menu will include: Fried Catfish w/ baked mac and cheese and green peas, Smothered Chicken w/ rice and collard greens, Oyster Salad topped w/ blue cheese crumbles, King Cake Bread Pudding, and White Chocolate Chip Brownies.

Reconcile would like toinvite the New Orleans community and to spread the word through the media."Pay What You Can Day" is the perfect chance for guests to learn about the mission of Café Reconcile and toconnect with Reconcile Youth. Come be a part of Reconcile's Mardi Gras celebration andsupport the talented and hardworking young adults in Class 1 of 2017!

Guests should also mark their calendars for future "Pay What You Can Day" events: March 14th, April 11th, May 16th, June 13th, July 11th, and August 15th!

Café Reconcile starts a new class on Monday, March 20, 2017. Youth between the ages of 16-24 who are interested in our workforce development program should come by Reconcile to fill out an application. We are always accepting applications!
